And now to introduce to you our new boys, Thor and Loki!

Because Jacob has been living in a dorm this past year, he wasn’t allowed to have pets so when he bought Jasmine and Nala, he asked me to take care of them with the plan that I would give them back once the semester was over. But… I simply cannot give them back- they are my little girls and they’re very attached to me after living with me for so long. So Jacob decided that he wanted his own precious babies to take care of so he started searching online for different ratteries, owners who may be giving rats away, and eventually went onto craigslist.

He found a woman who works at a pesticide place (I don’t know what they’re called, but those people you hire when you want bugs/rodents out of your house) who was trying to give two boy rats away to a good home. OH THE IRONY!

Apparently someone dropped off a female hairless rat and another person dropped off another black and white male rat, but there was some gender confusion? And eventually babies were born!

Very strange.

Two of those babies are our new Thor and Loki. The woman actually gave us a 3 story cage with a house, wheel, water, bowl, etc. with the rats for free! Amazing, right?

I promise I’ll get better pictures soon, but we’ve only had them for two days and I haven’t had my camera yet. Soon to come!!
